- "Rambo" & Trooper Jim Siler of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol recovered
2.9 million in cash and drugs in a seizure on Interstate 44 in 2001.
- "Leo" & Sgt. Scott Sewell, Sulphur Springs, TX.
2 million cash, one of the largest cash seizures from a passenger
vehicle in the nation. Over
20 Awards including Narcotic Detection Team of the Year 97’, & The
Texas Hall of Fame for his outstanding career 98’.

- "Olden" Altus, OK. Shot while protecting his handler
Danny Miller (who wears the bullet around his neck) lived to
work one more year before being retired.
Received many awards including: Reader’s Digest Article "A Cop’s
Best Friend" May 1992. Reenactment on the television series "TOP COP".
State House Bill 1660 was passed on April 17, 1990 and signed by Gov. Henry Bellmon
making it a felony to injure a Police Dog in the performance of his duty. K9 "Olden" sat
in Gov. Bellmon’s chair at the signing in the State Capital.
- "
Snooper" Tulsa, OK. Shot while protecting his handler Jim Cox, worked
in the field another year before being retired. "Snooper" received
many awards for his actions including the Medal of Honor for "Snooper" and
Jim Cox, a first for the department as well as the Purple Heart for "Snooper".
Both Jim Cox and K9 "Snooper" are gone now but will not be forgotten
by us.
- "
Kim" Ada, OK. Named "Police Service Hero Dog" by the World
German Shepherd Dog Club in 1990, a proud moment for Handler David Leewright.
- Robert Watson-Chief of Security/Eddy Warrior DOC had the first
K9 ("Aris") in the corrections system at the Crabtree
Center. K9 "Aris" retired
in 1999.
